Wuhan ramps up efforts on COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 3 to 11
As of 5 p.m. on Dec.8, more than 937,000 children aged 3 to 11 have received the first dose in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province. And more than 343,000 minors of this age group have completed two-dose vaccination courses.
Starting from early November, Wuhan began offering COVID-19 vaccination to children aged between 3 and 11. The children can only be inoculated under the condition that their guardians have been well-informed and offer their voluntary consent.
The city will ramp up its COVID-19 vaccination efforts to cover children aged 3 to 11 by the end of December.
