A cargo flight carrying 106.8 tons of consumer goods, auto parts, epidemic prevention supplies and digital products departed from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport for Liège, Belgium, on January 19.

As of January 20 this year, the number of international and regional cargo flights has risen by 75.6 percent year on year to 339 at the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.

The airport handled a total of 4,250 inbound and outbound cargo flights in 2021, soaring by 1.3 times year on year.

Last year, the airport processed 169,900 tons of air cargo, up 1.65 times year on year.
