Update information on COVID-19 cases in Hubei on March 27, 2022
No new local COVID-19 case was reported in Hubei on March 27. Two local asymptomatic patients from other provinces were identified, (one case was identified in Ezhou and the other in Huanggang). There was no inbound case or inbound asymptomatic carrier. Yesterday saw no suspected case or death. No patient was discharged from hospital. One inbound asymptomatic patient from medical observation.
As of 24:00, March 27, two local cases were hospitalized in the designated medical institution (one case was in Wuhan, and the other in Shiyan), both with moderate symptoms. There was no suspected case in the medical institution. Four local asymptomatic patients were under medical observation (two cases in Xianning, one in Ezhou, and one in Huanggang).
Seven inbound cases were receiving treatment in the designated medical institution, one with moderate symptoms and sixwith mild symptoms. Twenty-eight inbound asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine.
A total of 63,870 patients were cured and discharged from hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,391 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hubei. 792 close contacts were still under medical quarantine.
