As of 24:00, May 24, neither local case nor suspected case was hospitalized in the designated medical institution. Nine local asymptomatic patients were under medical observation (4 cases in Jingmen, 2 in Ezhou, 1 in Enshi, 1 in Qianjiang and 1 in Suizhou).

No inbound case was receiving treatment in the designated medical institution. Four inbound asymptomatic patients were under medical quarantine.

A total of 63,886 patients were cured and discharged from hospital. 4,512 people died of the disease. A total of 68,398 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hubei. 410 close contacts were still under medical quarantine.
