Ancient ceramics collection on display at Wuhan Museum
A newly upgraded exhibition of ancient ceramic art, featuring treasures from the Wuhan Museum's collection, opened to the public at the museum on Sept. 13, 2025.
As one of the museum's flagship permanent exhibitions in recent years, the exhibition has been comprehensively enhanced in terms of artifact selection, interpretive content, display design, and interactive experience.
The exhibition selected over 380 pieces (sets) of ceramic masterpieces from a collection of more than 10,000 cultural relics, spanning from Neolithic earthenware to porcelain from the Republic of China era. These artifacts, representing millennia of ceramic craftsmanship, are now gathered together.
Notably, more than 100 rare pieces, previously kept in storage, are being unveiled to the public for the first time. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
