On July 20, the two-day event China Mineral Processing Congress (CMPC) was opened in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province, bringing together 13 famous experts and scholars from 9 mining powerhouses including the United States, Russia, Canada, Australia and South Africa, 5 academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, well-known experts from more than 60 domestic universities, and representatives hailing from more than 200 related research institutes and corporations.

As known, CMPC are held in odd-numbered years at various locations nationwide, dedicated to building itself a Chinese brand for academic exchanges in mineral processing.

This year’s CMPC, with participants reaching more than 1,500, is another high-profile, influential and authoritative event following the edition held in Changsha in 2017.

The two-day event highlighted reports delivered by academicians and foreign guests, poster presentations, academic forums, product display and technical exchange among equipment companies and manufacturers, as well as world scientists lecture program. (hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
