Huawei unveiled its new innovation center for intelligent connected vehicle on June 21, in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, Wuhan, Hubei Province, marking that this Chinese technology giant and the zone will jointly promote the transformation of technology achievements of intelligent connected vehicle and help the construction of Wuhan's automobile industry cluster.

In possession of a platform for positioning intelligent vehicles "cloud enablement", a platform for application innovation and incubation, a platform for industry convergence and development, and a platform for research innovation and talent cultivation, the center aims to meet the actual needs of enterprise sand realize the coordination of cloud data, network and terminals.

Intelligent connected vehicle is one of the key development directions of Wuhan's automobile industry. The person in charge of the zone introduced that high-quality innovation platforms will be introduced in based on the center, and it is expected that two to three new energy vehicle companies will be brought in the zone by 2025, and build the zone into the best demonstration area of intelligent connected vehicle in the country.
